What your dog will be doing while at Doggy Day Care

When your dog arrives for day care, they will be let out in the garden with the other dogs to get reacquainted, dogs always spend the first part of their arrival very excited and having a good sniff of the latest arrival, this always lasts for a few minutes and then they will start playing chase and mucking about, they have more room to do this while outside until the excitement calms down, they are then let back inside where they find their favourite friend/s and continue to play.

If your dog comes regularly they will develop good relationships and bonds with other dogs who also come on a regular basis.

I do not except dogs who show any aggression to other dogs or people

The dogs normally then have a snooze for a short while and the later afternoon is spent mucking about and chilling out.

Your dog will be played with, loved  and socialized with other dogs in a safe and secure way.  Your dog will have plenty of human family contact.  Your dog will be treated as part of my family.  A home from home.

I normally take the dogs out in the afternoon between 12.00 and 3 pm, they get at least one hour.  The walk helps to bond the dogs relationships and gives them mental stimulation as well as the exercise they need.I normally take them on different walks each day.Swinley Forest, Heathlake, the Meadows and fields and woods at the back of Broadmoor.

Dogs are not let off the lead unless requested by the owner. On returning from their walk, the dogs are normally covered in thick mud, they are washed down with clean water with no soap and then towel dried off.  All towels and bedding are washed on a regular basis.

Your dog will need to bring a packed dinner as dogs are fed at 5 pm, they are fed at this time as dogs in day care use up a lot of energy and by 5 pm are very hungry.  There is no need to bring bowls, beds or toys.
